Customers praised this rustic solid wooden bookcase as a "beautiful solid piece of craftsmanship" with "excellent quality" and "stunning" finish. Reviews highlight the heavy, sturdy construction and reclaimed wood aesthetic. Delivery service received consistent praise. One customer noted the color was darker than expected and recommended using a wall tether due to the weight.
Absolutely love my new bookcase.
Already had three pieces of furniture and we love it.
I have bought a bookcase before but wanted a larger one
Not disappointed fits perfectly in its place great quality and looks great thank you so much
Martin delivery excellent helpful and kept me updated as to delivery
This is my second purchase from Chronology and it was well worth it - my bookshelf is absolutely gorgeous and is so obviously good quality. It makes the whole room look fantastic! I love how Chronology offers various different sizes of items so you can find items that work in unusual spaces e.g. a narrow nook. Martyn who delivers is also lovely and very kindly put the bookshelf in place. Great service overall.
Fantastic, solid bookcase and everything I needed for my living room and reading habits!Delivery was fab and the bookcase just slotted right into the space,it belongs!
Ok so I read, and have read many books, we were looking at option for a bookcase and we came across Chronology, we liked the idea of using reclaimed scaffold boards we liked using the ethos of Chronology, we liked the price and today we had it delivered. Now for more books.
Purchased two bookcases, very impressed , will be ordering again soon! Highly recommended!
Bought this a few months back, really happy and now thinking about a tv stand…….
Service was excellent from beginning to end with all my questions answered quickly .. kept updated with progress .. ETA was messaged two days before and delivery was on time .. Stuart appeared like a happy Gladiator carrying the heavy bookcase down my steep drive and lifting it into my living room without knocking it once! He was professional with a great sense of humour despite driving all the way from Newcastle to Oxfordshire .. he placed the bookcase exactly in position .. everything exceeded my expectations and now I have a stunning, well made, desirable piece of furniture which I promptly filled .. now I have a happy space in which to relax with my dog and a good book
Great as described item with grrat delivery. Thanks
Excellent product, delivery and communication. Thank you Paul, Gemma and Martyn. Purchasing these two bookcases has been a first rate experience throughout. Highly recommended!
The book case is lovely, just what we wanted and great quality.
Stunning piece of furniture. Super high quality and beautiful finish. Easy and helpful communication and request for specific dimensions for shelves was accommodated. Delivery was earlier than I expected too which was a bonus. I would definitely order from this company again and think it was worth every penny. Highly recommend, and thank you
Absolutely gorgeous. Fits perfectly exactly what I wanted. Beautiful wood.
Can't thank Stuart the delivery man enough for all his help.
Love this bookshelf. I asked for it to be 2m high, 80cm wide and 29cm depth. I also asked for specific heights per shelf and all were accommodated.
Great communication and very happy
Beautiful item!!! Exactly what I wanted. Ideally matching the rest of the furniture. Great quality. Love it 🥰.
It's really beautiful and good quality! We love it!
We absolutely love our bookcase. It fits the space so perfectly and feels adds loads of character to the room.
Lovely bookshelf, great quality wood. Very sturdy and well made. Colour was a little darker than expected (to match reclaimed wood furniture) but that may have been my fault for choosing badly!
Bought a wall tether to attach as the shelf is so heavy there would have been a real danger of toppling over.
Wonderful bookshelf. Solid wood and heavy so no chance it will ever topple over or break down. Ikea this is not! Will be buying from this seller again. Thank you.
Excellent service
I love my bookcase, super quality.

Great delivery guy too, very helpful.
Thank you for great service
Beautiful, I love these so much, everyone compliments them and they just make the room look so stylish.
