Description
Stunning rustic, scaffold board style bookcase built from premium grade industrial timber. Available in various sizes and in a range of wood finishes.
Handmade in our workshop in North Yorkshire.
The boards are sanded to a smooth finish and treated with hard wax oil, which gives a hardwearing, water resistant, stain resistant finish.
Available in 4 colour options, with further custom options available on request.
Every piece will have its own quirks and an individual grain, so no two pieces are ever identical.
Available in Pale, Golden, Antique or Rustic finish.
Other colour options available. Please contact if you have a specific requirement.
Due to the height and weight of this item we recommend securing to the wall.
We are able to make these bookcases in a variety of dimensions and finishes. Choose from the options below or get in touch if you have custom requirements.
SPECIFICATIONS
Available in 3 heights: 140cm (3 shelves) 170cm (4 shelves) or 200cm (5 shelves).
Available in widths ranging from 50cm to 110cm.
(Other heights and widths available on request).
The bookcases are 22cm deep.

DELIVERY
Please allow 4-5 weeks from order date for construction & delivery.
The majority of our orders are delivered on our own transport by our own delivery team. We will keep you updated on the progress of the order and will advise of the shipping date once your item is ready. You will be given a delivery date and an approx timeslot. Please let us know a contact number for delivery.

Ok so I read, and have read many books, we were looking at option for a bookcase and we came across Chronology, we liked the idea of using reclaimed scaffold boards we liked using the ethos of Chronology, we liked the price and today we had it delivered. Now for more books.

Service was excellent from beginning to end with all my questions answered quickly .. kept updated with progress .. ETA was messaged two days before and delivery was on time .. Stuart appeared like a happy Gladiator carrying the heavy bookcase down my steep drive and lifting it into my living room without knocking it once! He was professional with a great sense of humour despite driving all the way from Newcastle to Oxfordshire .. he placed the bookcase exactly in position .. everything exceeded my expectations and now I have a stunning, well made, desirable piece of furniture which I promptly filled .. now I have a happy space in which to relax with my dog and a good book

Love this bookshelf. I asked for it to be 2m high, 80cm wide and 29cm depth. I also asked for specific heights per shelf and all were accommodated.

Lovely bookshelf, great quality wood. Very sturdy and well made. Colour was a little darker than expected (to match reclaimed wood furniture) but that may have been my fault for choosing badly!
Bought a wall tether to attach as the shelf is so heavy there would have been a real danger of toppling over.
