Description

Industrial, Rustic, Wooden, Reclaimed, Scaffold Board Desk, with Monitor Riser Shelf, on Steel Tube Pipe Legs. Ideal for working from home, or your office setup. Various sizes and finishes. Custom options available.

Industrial style desk constructed from premium grade, 45mm depth scaffolding boards and mounted onto industrial steel tube legs. The desktops are sanded to a beautiful finish - smooth to the touch, but still showing plenty of the character and grain in the wood. They are then treated in a Wax Oil which hardens to a water resistant, wipeable finish. The finished product has a stunning rustic appearance, but is a fully functional, sturdy work surface aimed at meeting the demands of an office or home-office environment.

(The products we use on all of our items are certified as child safe and food safe, more info available on request).

The monitor riser will be made 60cm shorter than the desktop, allowing a 30cm space on either side. The riser is freestanding so can be moved to any position.
(We can make a custom sized monitor riser if preferred, just get in touch).

We also sell a version of this desk without the monitor riser - please visit: https://www.etsy.com/uk/ChronologyStore/listing/804695500 for more info.

STEELWORK COLOUR:
The steel tube framework is available in raw (galvanised) steel finish, or in 'blackened' finish (as shown in the images). The 'blackened' steel is an almost black/gunmetal finish. Both finishes give a fantastic industrial look. (The legs are detachable).
Please select colour option from the menu.

WOOD FINISH:
Every board will have its own quirks and an individual grain, so no two pieces are ever identical. We use only high quality boards and our tables are solid, sturdy and well built. Available in various sizes and with the option of blackened or raw steel framework;

Main images show the Golden finish but also available in Pale, Antique or Rustic or finish (please see last image) or other custom options available, just get in touch to discuss.

ASSEMBLY:
Some minor assembly is required with this item. The steel pipe framework will be sent partially disassembled (for ease of transportation) but they assemble together very simply by slotting into place and tightening with an Allen bolt. (Allen key provided).

We fit the metal end bands on the outer edges of the desk as standard, but please let us know if you'd prefer not to have them.

DIMENSIONS:
Depth (each side of the desk): 66cm
Height: 75cm
Length: Variable, please choose an option.

The images show the 150 x 66cm version.

Or if you require a custom measurement, please get in touch and we'll be happy to accommodate this.

TIMBER:
It is normal for some boards to have minor notches, dents, small cracks and general signs of life. The grain and knots can vary from board to board. All of which add to the character of the overall pieces.

We machine sand the boards to a beautifully smooth finish, and they’re treated with a high quality hard wax oil which brings out all of their stunning, quirky character.

Handmade in the UK

We were initially based in our garage at home, and in the early days the focus was on sourcing and restoring pieces of vintage and retro furniture. We've since moved a couple of times to larger premises, but we continually try to maintain the family feel! Many of our staff are family members who've joined us along the way to add their skills and experience.
