Assembly
Some minor assembly is required with this item. The two sides of the desk will need to be fixed together underneath by securing screws into pre-drilled holes. The steel pipe framework will be sent partially disassembled for ease of transportation. Assembly is simple, requiring only slotting the pieces into place and tightening with an Allen bolt (Allen key provided).
We fit the metal end bands on the outer edges of the desk as standard, but please let us know if you'd prefer not to have them.
Timber
Our pieces are constructed from industrial timber, designed to be fully functional as desktops and tables with smooth and level surfaces. Due to the repurposed nature of the scaffold boards, we allow for slight tolerances of a millimetre or two, and there can occasionally be minor kinks or bends in areas of the boards. These characteristics do not affect the stability or functionality of the desk.
It is normal for some boards to have minor notches, dents, small cracks, and other signs of life. The grain and knots will vary from board to board, adding character to each unique piece.
We machine sand the boards to a beautifully smooth finish and treat them with a high-quality hard wax oil, which brings out their stunning, quirky character. This treatment provides a hardwearing, stain-resistant, and water-resistant finish, giving the tabletops a light sheen.
Dimensions
Depth (each side of the desk): 66cm
Height: 75cm
Length: Variable, please choose an option.
The images show the 150cm + 150cm version. The 150cm is the measurement from the central rear corner to either of the outer rear corners. While this is still made from one smaller section fitted to a larger section, the two sides of the desk are the same total length.
If you require a desk with one side longer than the other, select one of the uneven dimensions, e.g., 125cm + 175cm.
For custom measurements, please get in touch, and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.

Handmade in the UK
We were initially based in our garage at home, and in the early days the focus was on sourcing and restoring pieces of vintage and retro furniture. We've since moved a couple of times to larger premises, but we continually try to maintain the family feel! Many of our staff are family members who've joined us along the way to add their skills and experience.
